Transportation, for both travel and shipping products, has become quite convenient in Akita, due to improvement of the Akita Airport, (the largest in the Tohoku Region), the Super Express Highways, and the railroad system, which will be of use for the Shinkansen Line. Even in winter, Snow does not interfere with the transportation system.
